Disneyland!

Hilary and Alicia on the teacups! So much fun but I think I was the only one who really liked the ride.
Natalie and I on the Haunted Mansion having a spooky good time.
Alicia, Hilary, and Nat before riding the Tower of Terror. I think this is one of the best rides at Disneyland or California Adventures.
The whole gang with Goofy (my favorite Disney character). I think he liked me best because he is leaning towards me but I am a little bias. Sorry, I know these were a while ago but I promised someone, Hilary, I would post because it has been a wonderfully long time since I have posted. All in all Disneyland was loads of fun and I really enjoyed hanging out with my roomies.

Cruising

After a stressful year of school for Mark and a year of working and passing the CPA exam for me Mark and I felt like we needed a break. Not to mention the fact that we were coming up on our 1 year anniversary. So we decided to go on a cruise and invited any who would like to come. Well, my parents love to cruise and Jimmy is always up for a vacation so we decided to go May 6-13th. Our cruise took us to Cozumel (it was supposed to be Costa Maya but an injured passenger needed to be flown to a hospital and the closest airport was Cozumel), Grand Cayman, and Jamacia. Sorry there no pictures of Grand Cayman but we went scuba diving and didn't bring an underwater camera. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Dolphins Cove

Well we didn't spend much time here but we walked around and looked at some of the wildlife including dolphins and iguanas as pictured above. The picture of our boat, Carnival Victory, is from Dolphins cove. As Jimmy and Mark would say and then hum, Victory, Victory, da da da da da da dada.

Climbing Not Fallin'

The water was a bit cold but it was also refreshing because of how hot and humid it was in the jungle area. In case you are wondering everyone made it to the top. No problems mon'.

Jamacian Me Crazy Mon'

I think everyone who went on the cruise was in agreement that Dunns Falls (pronounced Done) was the best part. We had a great time climbing the falls. Our falls guide was Michael and we appreciate him taking care of our camera and snapping some of these photos.

Monkeying Around at Katun-chi

After going to Tulum we went to Katun-chi which was a wildlife and sinkhole recreation area. We had a good time and Jimmy and Mark got to play with the friendly monkey. The sinkholes were pretty cool and we had fun swimming around in them.

More Tulum

Here are some of the sites. Lots to see!

Tulum

Tulum means wall as it was explained to us by our tour guide Lemuel (in the picture above with Jimmy). Don't worry he told us he already repented! The city was beautiful and the similarities between it and the city of Jerusalem were amazing. The view from the city over looking the Atlantic was absolutely breathtaking.

Dressin' Up

This was our dress up night. Mark enjoyed wearing the "cute bunny" bow tie and vest. Dinner and dessert were always quite tasty and the company was even better.

Dining room and Kitchen

This is where Mark spends most of his time... no, I know what you are thinking but the dining table studying!

Entrance and Family Room

This is the main living area in our house. Again I didn't take a picture of the ceilings but they are vaulted. The rug is from Jared who got it in Iraq. We pulled out the carpet throughout the house and in the family room we put down handscraped Pergo. We love it!

Guest Room

Or spare 'oom as in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. All who come for a visit will get to stay here. I hear from our prior guests that the futon is quite comfortable to sleep on.

Our Hallway and Guest Bathroom

This is the hallway that leads to our guest bathroom on the right and straight ahead is the guest room for all who will be coming to visit!

Our Master Bathroom

I thought one picture would suffice. We are currently working on the shower and tub. It was leaking and so Mark's dad, John, fixed it but we still need to retile the portion that was reworked before we can use it.

Our Bedroom

Well this is our room from all the angles I could get. The only thing I didn't get on camera that I like about our bedroom is the vaulted ceilings. It makes it look a lot bigger!

Home Sweet Home

Well, here is the long awaited picture of our house in Henderson, Nevada. Sorry it has taken so long. Pictures of the inside of our house are soon to come.
