Scuba Diving

The sunken Carthaginian was an old whaling boat. We saw the rare brown frog fish on the mast.
On our first dive, we went to a turtle cleaning station and saw five turtles who were having algae cleaned off their shells by fish.
While we were diving at the Carthaginian a recreational viewing submarine also came by to look at the ship. I guess we became part of the attraction.

Our crew for our two dives.
Back at the dock with James, a V.P. for P.A.D.I.

Road to Hana the beginning - Maui

Mark and Melissa's waterfall, well at least that day.

Brrrrrrrrrrrr

On Saturday we did "The Road to Hana." Hana is a more isolated part of East Maui due to a mountainous windy road. The area has lots of waterfalls and even the roads often times have water flowing across. Mark and I hiked to several waterfalls and came to one that we had all to ourselves. The waterfall was very COLD!

Hawaii -Maui part I

We spent about 5 days in Kihei, Maui or south Maui. The first few days we just checked out a different beaches in the area Kamaole I, II, III, and big beach. Friday we went scuba diving and Saturday we did the road to Hana. More pictures to come!

Hawaii - Oahu

We arrived in Oahu and stayed for a night before heading to Maui. We walked along Waikiki, had dinner, massages, and left for Maui the next day. Our room was a "family room" with 3 beds but like goldilocks we found the one that was just right.
